Introducing Rachel Boyd
The Education Collaborative is excited to announce our first team member, Rachel Boyd (@rachel.boyd). Rachel currently plays Natalie on Netflix's upcoming original series, Grand Army and will be participating in The Education Collaborative's Brooklyn Project.
Rachel is a Canadian actress-activist from Toronto. Growing up she always loved performing and decided to follow her passion and explore professional acting in the TV/film industry.
At age 19 she has appeared in commercial advertisements for Rogers, Sport Chek, Subaru, Price Chopper and Shoppers Drug Mart. She has been featured on Hulu’s The Bold Type, DC’s Shazam! and can most recently be seen playing Natalie in the Netflix original series Grand Army.
Rachel also enjoys writing slam poetry about various social issues as a way to incorporate her passion for social justice into her love for performance. She is currently attending Western University and is working toward a major in Media & Social Movements. Rachel is excited to be a part of the Education Collaborative and continue to create a lifestyle that combines her passion for both acting and activism.
